Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I was asked to produce various “virtual” ceremonies since these events weren’t able to be held in person. I produced and shot various on campus interviews when possible. I received and added different videos that were recorded on smartphones. I mixed in various graphics, transitions, and music in order to add a nice high end touch to the events. A specific mood for the events had to be created from scratch since it was the first time any of these longstanding events were presented as a video online. I also suggested making the “virtual” event more engaging by adding a chat window, an embedded digital program of the ceremony, and including live social media posts. I was very integral in the production of the organization’s first ever virtual ceremonies.
